Easy Potato Soup |

16 ounce frozen hash brown potatoes or more |
1 cup chopped onion |
1/2 to 1 cup chopped celery |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can ready to serve chicken broth |
2 cups water |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of celery soup |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup |
2 cups milk |

Combine potatoes, onion, celery broth, and water in a large pot; bring to a boil over high heat. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes. Stir in soups and milk; heat through. Garnish if desired with shredded cheddar cheese, diced ham, or bacon. Can add peppercorns, ground bay leaves, butter, salt and pepper to taste. |
