"Nonna's" Pasteda (Pasta Pie)
 
 
1/2 pound cooked pasta 9 eggs (lightly beaten)  
1-pound Ricotta Cheese  
1/2-teaspoon salt
1 cup of sugar  
1/2 quart of milk
2 tablespoons shortening
Cinnamon (to taste)
 
Mix all ingredients well, and press into lightly greased loaf pans.  Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until firm and brown.  A very rich desert.  Serve cold like a custard or warm like bread pudding.
